Improving User Onboarding with a Dashboard Redesign

DigiPay is a widely used fintech app in Iran that helps users make everyday financial transactions from card to card transfers to bill payments. However, users struggled with a common real-world task: splitting group expenses (e.g., dinners, trips, gifts).

To address this gap, I designed a “Split the Bill” feature that enables users to divide shared expenses, request payments, send reminders, and track settlements reducing friction in social payments and encouraging more frequent use of DigiPay for group financial interactions.
